To me there way to many clubs in Houston for Drakes Bar to be so shallow and ignorite. The other night me and a couple of friends were given a hard time and turn away for nothing at all, other than having to many people of the same ethnic group standing at the door. Drakes Bar Sucks and is very overated!!
December 14th, 2007 at 11:24 pm
They’re prejudice… I’m not conceited but sure as heck know I’m not ugly! My girlfriends and I go to Vegas all the time and is always escorted into the club without having to wait in line, but we went to Drake once and was turned away. The bouncer told us the ID didn’t look like her… she’s 35… does it really matter. He then asked for 2 forms of ID… suggesting a passport. What girl carries a passport with her when she’s legally able to come into any club?
December 17th, 2007 at 6:55 pm
Yep, the door boys (because they can NOT be mistaken for men) are assholes.
The old “may I see another form of ID” line. Just tell me as soon as I get into the line that you’re not gonna let me in! Don’t waste my time jackass!
So yes. They discriminate. I wonder if its the same crew from Red Door. Same shit over there.

The Drake is awesome. If you like to be at a bar where they make a good door selection, this is the place for you. If you wanna have a great time and dont mind spending the cash this place is great.
December 18th, 2007 at 10:47 pm
The Drake is awesome, selection at the door really makes a difference inside place….. ratio for men and women its outstanding…. nothing but beautiful girls in this place.. the location kind of freaks you out a little but once your are inside you forget where you are…. prices are reasonable.!
December 22nd, 2007 at 9:03 pm
My sister is the bartender there, Kelli Robinson and you are very lucky to have her!! She is HOT, dedicated and good at what she does!! I am so proud of her and can’t wait to see the bar!!
Always,
Kristi

I went to Drake to see if the rumors were true. Valet was quick but expensive. I paid $20 bucks to park and as I waited in line I saw valet take $10 bucks from two other guys and parked their vehicles right next to mine. I was not happy. It leads one to assume that if you’re a certain color you pay more. It was 10:30PM and the doorman looked me over from head to toe and aloud me to proceed inside. You get a very good mix of people from suits to jeans from young to old. Drink prices are a bit high but great service. I meet a lot of other club goers that were very nice and having a good time. The racial rumors for the most part I did not experience or feel inside of Drake, but was concerned about why the valet prices would be one price for me and different for another. I went alone with a very fashion forward look and had no problem getting in. B+ in my book. Lets see what happens when I try to hang out again at the Drake bar.

Loved the music at Drake! My husband and I had no problem getting in (we are Hispanic). In fact there were 15 of us that went that night, but we all got there at different times. My guy cousin came in by himself at around midnight and they asked him for a 2nd id. I went out there and talked to the bouncer and they let him in. He was dressed in jeans and a coat. Just dress nice and get there early! It is a huge club and like I said, the music was the best I have heard at any club in Houston (in my opinion).

This place is extremely overrated!! I went there with a few friends and the midget, asshole door guy refused to take my boyfriend’s ID, when it was him. He asked him to provide him with another form of ID and when he did he refused to accept it. It is not Vegas, Miami, LA or NYC, so do not waste your time! There are many other clubs/bars in Houston. I guarantee the hype will not last.

The Drake in Houston, TX sucks!
January 12th, 2008 at 6:39 am
I rather be in LA or NY then go to Drake that place is not all that!
January 12th, 2008 at 7:08 am
The Drake lounge & bar is only made for fake thirty thousand dollar millionaires.
January 14th, 2008 at 5:01 am
The downside to the drake lounge in Houston as it doesnt cater well to the VIPS, we had a table for 30 at 11 due to the crowd we were 15 mins late and they let our table go..Quick call to Iman at Escobar and the party moved and Iman sold 3 bottles….the upside to the drake club, good job at keeping the ghetto people out..tough place for the brothers and the vatos to mooch and bother people..best way to kill a club but if you don’t take care of those that spend someone else will.
January 20th, 2008 at 10:08 pm
The Drake is nothing that fancy inside. Its all a marketing gimmick. They make you wait 1 hour in the line, behavior is awful, DJ plays the same music that you can get in 10 other places in Houston. Nothing that exclusive or new.
My friend waited 30 minutes in the front of the line while others came in from the back of the line and got in. Total discrimination. The Promoter/ Door guy has no logic behind his decisions. He is a prick from hell. When we asked when we could get in, he shouted at us to leave and humiliated us in front of everyone. We were not the only one, the same behavior was done with many others.
Small people with power, thats what happens ..
We have seen many clubs rise and fall, and Drake will be no exception if there attitude doesnt change.
We are not going back to Drake by any means. There are much nicer and friendly places in Houston for a good time ..
January 20th, 2008 at 10:12 pm
They should put a sign up that says “We only allow good looking girls to come in and they can bring 1 guy each”
The door guy is discriminative .. full of non sense ..
Inside is ok, same music, nothing like DJ.s in London, LA, Berlin ..
Bunch of farmers with money …

Last night myself and a few friends went to experience the Drake Lounge for the first time for a friend’s birthday. When we approached the front of the line, the door boy told my boyfriend that his jeans were too “baggy” and that he would not be able to gain entrance. Instead of delaying the entrance of the rest of our party, we stepped aside so that they could go in. The door boy, then told the rest of our party that they were not allowed to split groups, so since myself and my boyfriend could not go in then neither could the rest of our party. (I have never heard of any nonsense such as this before.) We asked to speak with the manager and while we waited, numerous other groups were let in with guys wearing jeans just as “baggy” as the guy I was with. Needless to say, a manager never appeared and I was tired of looking at someone so shallow so we left to spend our money elsewhere. I think the problem was that we were too “dark” for the atmosphere inside of the Drake. Any place that operates in that manner will never prosper.
The Drake Lounge is a place that I will make sure none of my friends think about patronizing. I wish I would have read these blogs before visiting.
January 30th, 2008 at 8:56 pm
I know that this may offend people, but i’m going to say it anyway. I prefer the drake BECAUSE they are selective at the door. I appreciate a place where everyone is attractive and I know that i wont get hit on by creepy low life losers! I won’t apologize for the fact that I care about my appearance. I take care of myself and i like being around people who do. Maybe you should stop pulling the race card every time you don’t get into a club and realize that no, it’s not because your too “dark”, your just not that pretty. Go to buffalo wild wings loser. Rock on drake, houston! Oh by the way, i’ll be there this weekend. Look for me i’ll be the pretty one
February 2nd, 2008 at 2:34 pm
I agree with Jess. I have been back in Houston for 3 years. My wife and I have been trying to find a place that caters to a little older, and upscale crowd. I have been going out in Houston since the days of the ocean club. I want a place that makes you dress up. I like a place that doesnt exist to play ghetto rap. I realize that the younger generation loves that stuff, but so what. Go somewhere else. There should be a place for everyone. If you want to wear a hat on the wrong side and want to wear baggy jeans, go somewhere else. Never, and I repeat never, even on New Years Eve, have I had a problem getting in. I ask them to let me in and I go spend money. So thanks drake, I will be a patron as long as the crowd remains the same.
February 9th, 2008 at 7:13 pm
The Drake is ran by a bunch of prejudice Jerks! What they don’t realize is that the people that that they turn away because of ethnicity are probably the people who will spending big bucks in their venue.
The other night a group of my friends went and got in with no problems. My boyfriend gets there to meet them up and the door man asks him for two forms of ID. Who the hell carries two forms of ID? Of course they won’t tell you straight out that it’s because of your ethnicity. That’s just asking for a lawsuit! My boyfriend was fuming and left. Two hours later he gets a text from one of his friends that got in and the text said that they were thrown out of the club because they didn’t have two forms of ID. They were already in there! They were hunted down and singled out simply because of their ethnicity!
I wouldn’t give The Drake my money EVER. I’ve been in there and it’s not all worth the hype. I have decided to find a way to punish this type of discrimination.
February 10th, 2008 at 7:45 am
Went for the first time recently. The place is overated. Went before 10:30pm, so the line was reasonable. Drinks are overpriced for what you get. The place looks decent inside, 3 bars, and is spacious with large mirrors everywhere. The crowd was mixed the night I went, some 20 somethings, some 30 somethings, and beyond. I would not agree with some of the other comments about everyone being so attractive. The only common theme I saw with the men (since I’m a woman that was my perspective) is that though there were some attractive men, many of the men seemed like they were just out of college. Contrary to some of the other comments, the DJ the night I went was certainly not all he is hyped up to be. In my opinion, the music sucked. The parking attendant refused to move a large tire that was in the way of our car when we tried to exit the parking lot. Definitely not all that.
February 10th, 2008 at 5:38 pm
Dress code doesn’t matter if you’re not white. In response to Allen’s comment, I enjoy a dress code enforcement as well. But it’s unfortnuate that they take your ethnicity into account. It seems that along with my Louboutins, I’d need to put on my white person outfit.
February 10th, 2008 at 8:14 pm
It was my first time going to Drake or should i say it was my first time trying to get into the Drake. I was allright however my 22 year old brother was unable to because he looked too young. Similar to the others, he was asked for a second form of ID. After telling the guy that my brother was 22 and that he did not have a second form of ID with his photo on it he asked us to leave. We then waited for our group of friends for which one of the girls’s drivers license was bent and he would not let her in. The girl is damn near 30 years old and looks 30. The best way to take a club down is to give it what it doesn want. What needs to be done is to take a very large group of the “undesirables” (according to Drake), having 3 forms of identification, and all dressed very nicely. Get to the club very early and that way they are forced to let you in. The best place to hit a club is in the pocketbook. Oh yea, and I am a minority and so is my friend.
February 11th, 2008 at 1:10 am
This is in response to J Roc’s comment. I totally agree. The way to hurt a business is to hit it in the pocketbook. However, I refuse to even step foot into the Drake. I refuse to give them even a penny of my hard earned money. I also refuse to carry around excess IDs simply because that’s their “policy”. How do they think that it is ok to have a policy for minorities and then have a different policy for non-minorities? Being a female, I barely have room to hold my ID much less a passport! I say either all minorities boycott The Drake or we all show up there one night in one big crowd with multiple IDs! They should realize that Houston is a melting pot and without the money of the minority consumer businesses will not survive!
February 11th, 2008 at 3:44 am
This place is not racist, they just let the people who they think will spend money inside but the only problem is THEY DONT KNOW WHO WILL SPEND MONEY. I went there last weekend dressed pretty well and got in with no prob. I went there this weekend I got in but my WHITE friend who was dressed to their standards was not allowed in. maybe because he looked young but he had the 2 forms of ID’s that they always ask for just to be on the safe side but I guess to their rules a drivers license and passport are not valid..who knows? but what really is shocking is when I offered to purchase bottle service so that my friend would be allowed in they told me all their VIP tables are sold out …which is pretty hard to believe. Management needs to open their eyes they just lost $500. I give it 2 months before the door fags get their ass beat. They need to realize Houston is not Hollywood.
February 11th, 2008 at 5:54 pm
My cousins Bday party was reserved there Sat and we had a good size group, all willing and ready to spend our hard earned $. First the did not let my brother in cause they stated his jeans were to baggy, my brother said had extra clothes in car will be right back and they stated his shoes were not ok to go in? WTF! I get there after this happens and decide to head in with my friend, we get in with no problem. We browse the inside and went back outside, told my fiance to get in line to head with her GF, they then state my girls ID looks fake! asked for a passport or something else with DOB! I see this happening and head out club and talk to the little man door boy, I was pissed but asked calmly whats the problem? he the gve me BS, i asked for owner or mgr and he tried to push me out, I am a solid guy and told that little man, don’t dare touch me i am asking you to talk to your MGR or owner, long story short, this PLACE is lame to pick on certain, ethnic people, they discriminate on heavy set girls, i saw many groups get rejected cause they had one heavy set girl, so they find a reason to deny the whole group access no matter if with beautiful girls etc… We headed out to Pandora next door, had a blast there.
So DRAKE in my book is waiting for a law suit once someone gets enough proof and I can’t wait for it to ccrumble down.. peace.
February 16th, 2008 at 2:45 am
Hmm, all the reviews are very interesting. I’ve been to Drake 3 times, always got in after about 5 mins., but every time I went I’ve been with someone who knows someone. Otherwise I would never go, because the line outside is ridiculous. No club is worth waiting in line for an hour. I love the inside, though, and the music they play is some of the best in Houston. And yes, the door guys definitely do discriminate based on looks. It’s unfortunate, but that is the way the world works. I am just very thankful every day that I got my momma’s good looks.
February 17th, 2008 at 7:03 am
i just just got back from The Drake…I live in LA and I’ve been to a lot of clubs that claim to be “The Club”. There is a lot of hype around this place…I’ll admit that I’ve read the reviews about how it’s a racist club and it might be…if it is…I hope that it goes down in a blaze…but otherwise we had a decent time there. We walked right in, parked really close and had a great time. The music was decent. A mix from Michael Jackson to Daft Punk to Britney (puking from the fact that I recognize her song). We had a pretty fun night…one of the best nights that I have spent in Houston!!! I would agree with all of you that say that they are picky at the door…for sure that’s true! I guess it’s up to you to decide whether or not you want to go to a club that bases your admittance upon whether or not you meet their criteria. I used to work at a club and my best bet is that it depends on the night. The “coolness” of the “club” depends on the people that are there…choose where you spend your $$ carefully…
February 23rd, 2008 at 5:31 pm
Why does everyone say that they’re predjudiced?? I am a black girl and have gone many times with many other girlfriends…. I havent had any problem whatsoever getting in….But then again, I’m super hot……
February 25th, 2008 at 2:19 pm
WENT TO THE DRAKE 2-23. PARKED VERY CLOSE, IF U WANNA VALET ITS ONLY 7 DOLLARS.. NOT 20 AS STATED ABOVE. HOWEVER WE FOUND A SPOT VERY CLOSE. THE LINE WAS MEGA LONG BUT WE HAD RESERVATIONS.. WENT RIGHT IN TO OUR TABLE.. THE MUSIC WAS DAMN AWESOME! HAD THE MOST FUN EVER EVER!
February 27th, 2008 at 10:07 pm
I remember when they opened The Red Door. If they didn’t care for your nationality, ethnic background & your culture they would ask you for a second I.D. Then, they would straight lie to you & say its NOT you when it was you (if you had a 2nd one to show them) and say its NOT you & turn you away. We all know even when you get pulled over by an officer that they don’t even ask us for a 2nd I.D. The owner DOESN’T have the COJONES to post up a sign out front saying “NO Africans & NO Asians PLEASE”!!! So for those who aren’t living in the slavery days still - SAVE YOUR FUNDS AND YOUR TIME & GO HAVE FUN ELSEWHERE!
March 5th, 2008 at 12:06 am
I whent to Drake last weekend, I Valet, it only cost me $7.00 dollars which its cheap considering what I ussually pay. I got in line, dont know a door guy, I was in there quick and even wish me to have a good time. I am a educated latino man, who has the scense to know how to dress. If they discriminate, good, “people” its a club. They have the right to negate entry to any, low life, gettho, cheap ass. That type of people dont spend money in a club, they only hit on your woman. I am glad that someone finally got the vision to open a club with style, flair and the balls to keep out college hungry kids and smoochers. For those of you who think this club will fold, think again, they are catering to the elite in Houston. The DJ rocked!!!!! and the woman were hot! I am looking forward to spend many weekends there, I have clubed in NY, Miami and L.A. and this place hangs with all of them. Please dont change, do what you do and the rest of you style challenge, ignorant people, open a magazine and learn how to dress. Look at it this way, you can always go to drink Houston or one of those cheazy ass clubs.
March 9th, 2008 at 4:40 am
I’m not a club or bar person, BUT my sister is and she is BLACK and SHE GETS INTO THIS PLACE EVERYTIME SHE GOES…but here’s the catch….SHE’S CLASSY AND BEAUTIFUL…the main point (from what i’ve read) is just don’t go to the place looking like trash and you will be fine. AND if you’re not the best looking person in the world, maybe u should UP your wardrobe a bit…not to sound shallow, but that’s the way some people like to do things. She enjoys Drake EVERYTIME she goes. When I told her what people were saying on here she was VERY surprised because she’s never had a problem…well, CLASSY just might be the key but, heck, I’ve never been so what do I know? theotherblksister gives it TWO thumbs up!
March 10th, 2008 at 12:23 am
This club sucks!!!!! I have never met more prejudiced people in my life. Being a proud american born sikh I am disgusted to even have establishments such as Drake Lounge exist in the area that I live in. I can understand having a no hat policy, but to deny sikhs entrance into this lame lounge is plain racist and something you would think was not an issue in the 20 th century. To have some doorman with a glorified job of letting people into a club blatantly insult a sikh male to others stating we can’t let him in because of his “hat” is ignorant. So sad to think that people are so ignorant to know that the “hat” in reality is a turban which a religious component of Sikhism. So basically Drake Lounge promotes that it is a racist, discriminatory, and ignorant establishment that feels that Sikhs with “hats” are not allowed in their club. I have seen clubs in NY, Chicago, Miami, La and believe me when I say Drake is a very average lame lounge that has no appeal to me or any of my friends. I would never recommend this place to anyone I know. To fund a modern day racist establishment is not my cup of tea, I would rather give my money to the various other lounges in houston which are far more classy than this one.
March 17th, 2008 at 4:12 am
im glad they are PARTICULAR AT THE DOOR. Most palces turn ghetto, you ghet Ghetto people in buying a couple drinks and NOT TIPPING, taking up space, hitting on your girlfriend, and the cheap ghetto woman(could be any race) expect men to buy them drinks cuz they cannot afford them.
March 17th, 2008 at 7:09 pm
I have gone the last two sat. nights to the Drake and had no problem getting in or any…ANY of my friends get in…if you dress and act like a respectable person you wont have any problem…this racist shit is exactly that a bunch of shit…there are people of every ethnic groop in there and having a good time…if you want to bring the hood in to this place its just not going to happen and im glad there are plenty of hood places to go if thats what you want this just isnt it.

I love how a lot of people automatically assume that anyone who didn’t get into this so called “exclusive” club were dressed badly or are “low-class” and bitter and calling them racist. Let’s lay those assumptions to rest, right now.
First off, I have been to the Drake with friends twice. The first time, it was Friday night, pretty early, they let us in and barely glanced at our IDs. Second time, Saturday night, late, they first ignored us and then claimed they needed a “second form of id.” My group of friends is predominantly Asian, definitely all ethnic, and I’m sure no one needs me to elaborate on why we were refused. The funny thing is, I was even MORE dressed up the second time (black low cut cocktail dress) than the first. Our group is the kind that dresses to the nines to go out.
To give some perspective, we (same group) have been to most of the exclusive clubs in Miami and Vegas and have NEVER had a problem. We also routinely visit the Red Door (a club often mentioned in conjunction with the Drake) and the doorman there lets us in so fast I’m almost certain he never really reads our IDs. One time, in Vegas, somebody PAID us to help get their friend in. This should tell you that it wasn’t dress, or looks, or any other excuse that kept us outside the door except for one: our Race.
It’s sad that in this day and age, in a metropolitan area the size of Houston, where we routinely mix and mingle with a variety of other ethnicities and cultures, that something like this could still be going on. How could you patronize this place knowing that they routinely bar people from entering based on the color of their skin? How could you, if you are a minority, have so little pride as to go and beg entrance to a club that will happily take your money, then look down on you behind your back?
To give them their due, once you’re inside, the place is well-decorated and the bartenders are friendly and polite. But they certainly aren’t the only place in Houston that could claim that. If you are a minority, or if there is any part of you that is opposed to racism, let your money and your presence speak up and show them that Houstonians will NOT stand for this. STOP patronizing the Drake.
April 19th, 2008 at 11:48 pm
you people are so ignorant…its not because of your ethnicity, every night at the Drake there are people from all over the globe covering every race you cuold imagine its how you and your crowd carry yourself, and look physically.
you can only let a certain amount of people in based on fire marshall code so you have to be picky…and just because the race card is so easy to play you all play it…instead of being ignorant why dont you realize that maybe you just look too shitty to step foot in…its not a restaurant ctering to anyone that will pay, its an EXCLUSIVE club…notice all of the pissy posts are written by folks that couldnt get in…go figure
DRAKE BAR IS THE BEST BAR IN HOUSTON…BAR NONE…hehe

Drake:
I am a Black Male and I am the son of a very famous actor. When I came down here from Atlanta to visit my friends and I went to The Drake. They asked me for 2 forms of ID which I could never understand. Im not one to flex my muscle at a club and tell somebody “Do you know who I am?” because that shit is for the birds. Trust me i was dressed in nothing but the latest fashion. I was very digusted to see White males get in that looked like they just got done shopping at Metro Park or some other off the rack clothing store. Somebody mentioned earlier that they are glad the Drake has high standards..Im going to tell you right now..NOBODY has higher standards than Sean Combs and I get personal invites to everyone of his parties.Im not going to diss the Drake but they really need to check themselves with all that race shit. I took my money elsewhere and we ended up spending 15K..I guess we really should have broken out the Lambo’s for this spot..I guess are Hummer’s were not enough.
May 12th, 2008 at 1:50 pm
Horrible place. I arrived with a party of 4 (my wife and another couple) for a friend’s birthday party that was previously arranged with the club mgr and promoter. All of our friends were already inside when we arrived at 11pm. We were told we just had to tell them we were with the party and everything would be cool. Not so… The door man pulled the “Do you have a 2nd ID” bs with me. (BTW we are Asian but my friends inside were all white). My buddy tried to tip the door man but he wasn’t having it. I was ready to asap because I heard they discriminate according to race there but figuring since I’m half white and my wife an other female friend I arrived with are hot and dressed great (we guys were in $800 suits looking good), it wouldn’t matter. WRONG!! All 20 of my friends inside raised hell, paid for their drinks, left zero tip, called the mgr and door staff what they are and promtly left. They told me that there wasn’t much color in the club besides white.
I also like how a hispanic guy pulled up in his new vette with a busty blond, they let her in but not him.
To the people that say they only discriminate based on looks are dead wrong because there were plenty of busted looking girls in there.
May 17th, 2008 at 11:02 pm
Last night, I visited this place with two of my friends. I am a 28 yr old female and both of my friends were male. Being new to Houston, I hadn’t heard of the place before, nor read any reviews. I think one of my friends found it on a listing of bars, or whatever in Houston. We were all dressed nicely, and on arrival at the door, both of my male friends produced their IDs before mine. Those were silently viewed by the bouncer, but on viewing mine, he informed me that I did not look like the picture on my Texas driver’s licence, and asked if I had any other form of ID. I actually had TWO other forms of picture ID with my DOB (I am a citizen of another country, so I produced my ID and DL from there). Of course, now he had been presented with as much proof that he needed that i was indeed over 21 and was the person in my IDs!! Of course he informed me that he couldn’t accept my other IDs and could not let me in. Fine.
I wasn’t angry nor upset. I think we were just all a bit shocked that there are such stupid people in the world. We walked away, but before completely leaving the vicinity, I suggested to my friends, just to be humoured, that since the problem was supposedly me, they should be able to go in without me. I waited around the corner for them, whilst they once again approaced the guy at the door. While waiting, they witnessed a Hispanic girl and Black guy being refused entry, and witnessed the girl accussing the guy of being racist. Upon their (my friends) turn, they were promptly informed that if ’she’ (referring to me), couldn’t get in, then they couldn’t get in!
Now, am I ugly like some people on this thread seems to suggest as the reason of some women being turned away? Absolutely not! (but on the other hand, I guess beauty is always in the eyes of the beholder). Am I fat? Definintely not. I am 5′8″, skinny, and was in heels …definintely quite statuesque in appearance. Are my friends and I Black? Yes!
Did this feel like a racist experience to me? It absolutely did! (the FIRST experience I have ever claimed to being racist!!). Is my opinion of it being racist correct - I don’t know - after all, it is just an opinion.
One thing is for certain though - the bouncer is indeed an unreasonable person, and I don’t associate with people who are unreasonable and small minded! Ah well, Houston is a big city!
PS It’s a real shame that people in this thread, and others about this club, seem to be PROUD when they are allowed in! Says a lot about their personalities!!
May 19th, 2008 at 8:05 pm
You know what isiah follow me and my crew to this club and then you will really find the truth this place is horrible I am a hispanic female that is not quote (ghetto) I am educated and well spoken not (except for in this comment) not metion “hot” but when I went this past weekend 5/17/08 a member(brother and sister-n-law)of

May 17, 2008 Blogg Guys i want to say that Prejudice extends across the board to all races. Do ur self a favor next time you visit actually do a count of nationalities by accident. I guarantee you that it will not be proportioned. I say this because i have visited and have had no problem getting in, but have watched other be turned away for some of the same reasons used since 2007. YES they are at the door manns discretion picking, AND I GUARANTEE HALF THESE UGLY AZZ INDIVIDUAL MEN, AND FAKE AS WANNA BE BARBIES.. I WOULD TOUCH IF THEY WERE LAST ON EARTH. The owner is a Middle Easter guy that wants the WHITE PEOPLE to keep him open, butt his demographic study was flaud before he entered the financing for this place, because in Houston, Texas The Asains, Blacks, Latinos out far by 62% out spend there white counter parts..check the facts…Next time ur thereand they turn you away.tell them SHUR MOOT in Arabic, or just tell them thank you and Blogg to the Houston POST..Lets stop this shit.. I have alot of money and would by this place and turn it around butt it alreay has a badd LOOK….

FUN FACTS ABOUT DRAKE:
1) The same brothers who own red door, own drake.
2) One of the brothers (who is also an owner), works the front door and looks like a bouncer (he has spiky hair).
3) They used to own the Foundation room in Austin but have since sold it.
4) The policy at all the clubs they own is to limit Black, Asian, and Hispanic people. When they don’t want to let you in, they ask for a second form of ID or comment that you do not meet the dress code.

this is the most racist club i have ever been to. I was with a group of 12 people, they made half the group leave to change there shoes, when they returned they had to stand in line for one hour directly in front of the same door boy. After one hour, he then says that he will not let them in due to a supposing comment that was said 2 weeks prior. He made my friends drive all the way home to change their shoes, drive back, stand in line for an hour and THEN says they could not get in. I will never return to this club. I will recommend that no one spends any time or effort in this place. I will try my best to shut this place down. My friends may not be as white as they are but they spend the same money. These assholes will get what they deserve, and i hope it is soon!

Tried to get in there, this last Friday. We rolled up in a stretched hummer, our entourage had about 4 professional athletes in it. Only to be turned away because one of the athletes had on white tennis shoes! And lets just say these were very well known athletes. That place lost a lot of business that night, and after reading all the other blogs about them being racist. In my opinion that is the reason we didn’t get in and since they didn’t recognize who was trying to get in proves that even more…….

This place is horrible… the as*hole guy at the door picks and chooses who he will let in… not only that but my buddy offered him 80 bucks as incentive to let us and our girlfriends in… not a chance. I will NEVER EVER return to or recommend this pompus crap hole.

Sigh! What is there? - expensive drinks, metrosexual hyenas, ugly hookers and crappy music—no thanks.
