How to Prevent Wrinkles

Are you looking for secrets on how to prevent wrinkles? Getting the proper amount of fish in your diet may do the trick.

Scientists prevented wrinkles by treating skin with eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). EPA is an omega-3 fatty acid found in fish oil. For this study, EPA treated skin was 75% less damaged than skin not treated with EPA.

The EPA may prevent wrinkles by raising levels of transforming growth factor-beta, a hormone that boosts collagen and elastin formation.

This study was carried out with a topical EPA cream. Until one is developed you should supplement your diet with 1 to 3 grams of Omega-3s supplements.
